How to Change Your Transaction Descriptor
Merchants can update both the Shortened Descriptor and Longest Descriptor directly from the dashboard.
Steps
- Log in to your NeroPay Dashboard
- Go to ACCOUNT
- Select Account & Profile
- Click on Profile
- Change your Descriptor
- Update the information as needed and save your changes
Please ensure that:
- The descriptor reflects your registered business or trading name
- No special characters or misleading wording are used
- The description is clear for cardholders to recognise the transaction
Changes may not appear immediately on all statements, as banks and card networks may take time to update their records.
