### **How to get there**

From your terminal home screen, follow this path:

**More → Checkout → Tips**

---

### **Step 1 — Open the More menu**

Tap the **More** button in the bottom-right corner of your terminal screen.

---

### **Step 2 — Go to Checkout**

Select **Checkout** from the menu, then tap **Tips**.

---

### **Step 3 — Enable the Tips feature**

Toggle the Tips feature to on.

---

### **Step 4 — Choose your tipping mode**

Select the mode that best suits your business:

| Mode | How it works |
| --- | --- |
| **Fixed Amount** | Customers choose from preset fixed tip amounts |
| **Percentage** | Customers choose from preset percentage options |
| **Smart Tips** | NeroPay automatically suggests appropriate tip amounts based on the transaction |

---

### **Step 5 — Adjust your settings**

Once you've selected a mode, adjust the settings to match your preference — such as setting the fixed amounts or percentages you want to offer customers.

> ⚠️ **Note:** Tips settings apply to all transactions processed through this terminal. If you have multiple terminals, you will need to configure tips on each one separately.

---

### **Frequently asked questions**

**Q: Where do tips appear in my reports?** A: Tips are recorded separately in your transaction reports. You can view them under \[Transactions overview\] in your NeroPay dashboard.

**Q: Can I turn tips off after enabling them?** A: Yes. Follow the same steps and toggle the Tips feature off at any time.

**Q: Can I offer all three tipping modes at once?** A: No — you can only select one tipping mode at a time. Choose the one that best suits your customers.
