Additional services are charged per event, on top of the channel fee: an SMS, a non-UK card, an extra payment method, an instant payout or a refund. You set the price of each, above NeroPay's floor.

The five services
| Service | Charged when |
|---|---|
| SMS fee | Each SMS sent for the merchant |
| Non-UK cards | A payment on a card issued outside the UK. Fixed and percentage parts |
| Extra payment method | A payment through an additional method. Fixed and percentage parts |
| Instant payout | An instant payout the merchant requests. Fixed and percentage parts |
| Transaction refund | Each refund the merchant issues |
Set them in Settings → Pricing → Additional service pricing as defaults, or per merchant on its Merchant pricing tab.
The protected base
Under every field the page prints Protected base: NeroPay's cost for that service, visible to your platform only.
| You enter | What applies |
|---|---|
| Above the protected base | Your price. The difference is yours |
| Exactly the protected base | Your price, passed through at cost |
| Below the protected base | The base, applied silently in place of your value |
⚠️ Flooring is silent: the page doesn't refuse a value, it replaces it. If a saved figure isn't the one you typed, it was below the base.
In Connect Reports
The Additional service economics block shows what merchants were charged, NeroPay's base cost and what your platform kept, per service. A row appears once a service has been used and settled in the dates chosen.
Frequently asked questions
Are additional services charged on every payment?
No. Only when the event happens. Channel fees are the per-payment charge.
Why did my price change after saving?
It was below the protected base, so the base was applied.
A priced service is missing from the report.
No merchant has used it in the dates chosen. Widen the dates.
Do my defaults change existing merchants?
No, except an older account with all-zero pricing, which inherits them.
